About the role
For a regulated MedTech production environment in the Nijmegen region, we are looking for a Supply Chain Operator with GMP experience.
In this hands-on role, you help keep production running smoothly by ensuring that materials are received, stored, picked, staged and shipped correctly. You also make sure that every material movement is accurately recorded in the system.
You will work in an environment where accuracy, compliance and reliable material handling are essential. Physical stock and system records must always match, and materials need to be correctly labelled, stored and available when production needs them.
This role is suitable for someone who takes ownership, works carefully and understands the importance of supply chain accuracy in a regulated, patient-focused manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform physical material movements within the warehouse, including receiving, storage, picking, staging and shipping.
- Execute corresponding system transactions for all material movements, such as goods receipt, transfer postings, consumption and scrapping.
- Ensure full alignment between physical inventory and system records.
- Maintain compliance with GMP, safety, environmental and internal procedures.
- Keep the warehouse and material processes inspection-ready.
- Support quality and production processes by ensuring materials are correctly identified, segregated and available when required.
- Follow warehouse processes, standard operating procedures and compliance requirements.
- Participate in cycle counts and inventory checks.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain proper handling, labelling and storage conditions for all materials.
- Take ownership of assigned activities and contribute to process reliability and continuous improvement.
- Support team coordination and help guide daily warehouse activities when needed.
Requirements
You are accurate, disciplined and comfortable working in a regulated production environment. You understand that reliable material handling directly supports product quality, compliance and production continuity.
You take responsibility for inventory accuracy, follow procedures carefully and communicate clearly with colleagues from production, quality and planning.
Your background
- HBO, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, Life Sciences, Operations or a related field.
- Experience with warehouse processes is required.
- Experience in a GMP-regulated environment is strongly preferred.
- Experience with change management, Lean Manufacturing or team leadership is a plus.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in both physical handling and system transactions.
- Ability to follow structured processes and work with discipline.
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems, such as SAP, for inventory movements is preferred.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for inventory accuracy.
- Ability to collaborate with production, quality and planning teams.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
- Fluency in both English and Dutch, written and spoken, is required.
What you can expect
You will work in an international, quality-driven production environment where supply chain accuracy, compliance and teamwork are central.
The role offers responsibility, varied operational work and the opportunity to contribute to reliable material flows in a regulated MedTech setting. You can expect room for your own input, specialist training, development opportunities and good employment conditions.
